A Director (Funda Eryiğit) on the pre-production of a film called Dialogue, chooses Ushan (Ushan Çakır) and Hare (Hare Sürel) to play the characters Günseli and Veysel. Hare and Ushan meet at the table read. As rehearsals progress, they want to know more about each other. When their reality intertwines with that of the film couple, Director’s film begins: Günseli and Veysel argue. Years of accumulated resentment turn into a noisy fight. Director’s film ends. Setting turns out to be a studio. Prop house is deconstructed. Hare and Ushan notice the camera, still on record, turn to each other and smile.

Director ALİ TANSU TURHAN

Ali Tansu Turhan was born in 1991 in Ankara, and now lives in Istanbul, Turkey. He graduated from the Film and Television Department of Bahcesehir University in 2017. Between 2009 and 2012, he worked in PTOT production company in various positions. He wrote and directed his first short film Portrait (2010), selected in Cannes Short Film Corner. He worked as director of photography on the feature film Devir (2013). He made five more short films during the years 2012-2020. He is on the pre-production of his first feature film Diyalog (2021).
